Bedfordshire based lawyer Lisa has specialised in family law since qualifying in 1994. She has extensive experience of representing clients in all aspects of divorce, financial matters and cases involving children.

Lisa is a fully qualified Barrister and member of the Family Law Bar Association. This means she is able to advise clients as any solicitor would but also has extensive experience of representing her clients in court.

As a specialist family advocate Lisa is able to assist clients in understanding the way the Judge is likely to approach their case and the view he or she may take of the evidence before the Court. She is committed to the non-adversarial approach advocated by the family Courts and to the duty on family lawyers to try to negotiate a settlement but also has extensive experience of ‘fighting’ hard for her clients in Court when necessary and appropriate.

Lisa understands the distress that the legal process and uncertainty of outcome can cause to her clients and is able to offer a supportive yet objective view. She is able to assist clients in the early stages right through to conclusion of a final court hearing, if necessary, and can often accommodate clients who may wish to deal with their matrimonial or family matters outside of normal business hours.

Lisa spent a number of years with one of the leading Family Law Chambers in London where she acted for husbands and wives, parents and grandparents as an advocate in Court and also providing written advice and assistance in negotiations prior to Court hearings.

Having had a family of her own, Lisa moved out of London and is now based in Bedfordshire where she spent her childhood.
