Nick is an experienced and approachable family lawyer based in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk. He specialises in all areas of relationship breakdown and enjoys an excellent and trusted reputation with his clients, local Courts and fellow professionals.

Nick has specialised in family law since 1999 dealing with divorce and separation, property and financial matters, separation agreements and domestic violence as well as children issues such as residence and contact including grandparents rights. He has particular experience in divorce for members of the armed forces and police often involving complex pension arrangements.

In addition to matters arising from a relationship breakdown, Nick has helped many couples (both married and unmarried), avoid future difficulties by assisting them with living together and prenuptial agreements. He has represented clients throughout the UK and abroad including the USA.

During what is invariably a difficult and confusing time in clients’ lives, Nick supports and assists clients with his friendly and understanding approach, talking through often complex issues in a straightforward manner whilst working resolutely to achieve the best possible result for the client. Nick is very flexible and happy to accommodate clients outside normal office hours where necessary.

Nick has practised law since 1987 and qualified as a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives in 1996. He has worked for prominent law firms in the East Anglia region and before joining Woolley & Co was Head of the Family Department for a firm in Ipswich.

He provides legal advice on matrimonial issues through the Citizens Advice Bureau on a voluntary basis and was appointed Trustee of Lowestoft Contact Centre which helps children to re-establish contact and spend time with both parents.

Away from work, Nick is a keen sports fan dreaming up new ways to injure himself whilst still finding time to enjoy more leisurely pursuits with his family.
