Nottinghamshire family solicitor Kelly Glenn has joined expanding Woolley & Co family law specialists to further bolster its experienced team.
Kelly, based in East Leake and covering the whole of Nottinghamshire, has been practising law for seven years and specialises in all aspects of family law, from pre-nuptial agreements and divorce, to financial and children matters.
Her appointment is a further boost for Woolley & Co, which continues to go from strength to strength against the tide in the legal sector. Kelly and two additional solicitors, based in Staffordshire and Cornwall, join the existing family lawyers working from satellite home offices, giving customers access to highly experienced lawyers using telephone and email to speed the sending of documents, and fitting meetings around the needs of clients.
Kelly’s expertise and experience in family law comes from specialising early in her career – and it is something she remains passionate about.
“I love dealing with people on a personal level and family law is all about working in that way. I enjoy all aspects of family law but in particular dealing with matters involving children,” said Kelly, aged 30, who is married with two young sons.
“I think the way Woolley & Co operates, with lawyers working from home offices, is ideally suited to dealing with people on a more personal level rather than the big firms where you often don’t get to know who you are dealing with and do a bit of everything.
“It is also quite innovative for the legal sector and definitely a sign of how things are going to change over the next few years. It shows lawyers do not have to be tied to imposing town centre offices to do an effective job – and in fact can better work around clients by operating independently.”
Kelly, who was previously a partner at a law firm in Daventry, is a member of Resolution, committed to a non-confrontational approach to divorce, separation and other family law matters.
Andrew Woolley, managing partner of Woolley & Co, founded in Stratford upon Avon in 1996, said: “We are delighted to welcome Kelly to our team.
“She has built a strong track record and will be a great asset to us.”
Woolley & Co has family law experts based across the Midlands, East Anglia south and London, tackling all aspects of family law. For more advice, visit www.family-lawfirm.co.uk
