Staffordshire family solicitor Petra Salt has joined expanding Midlands-based Woolley & Co family law specialists to further bolster its experienced team.
Petra, based between Stafford and Stoke-on-Trent and covering Staffordshire, Shropshire and Cheshire, has been practising law for 11 years and specialises in all aspects of family law, from pre-nuptial agreements and divorce, to financial and children matters.
Her appointment is a further boost for Woolley & Co, which continues to go from strength to strength against the tide in the legal sector. Petra and two additional solicitors, based in Nottingham and Cornwall, join the existing 13 lawyers giving customers access to highly-experienced lawyers using direct telephone and email to speed the sending of documents, and fitting meetings around the needs of clients.
Petra graduated with a degree in law from Staffordshire University before completing a Masters in criminology at Keele University. She has since worked at a number of firms in and around Stoke on Trent, as well as a brief stint in Worcester, before joining Woolley & Co.
Initially Petra specialised in criminal law but felt she could better use her talents to help people in family law cases.
“I especially enjoy working on cases involving children but do work on everything from divorces to pre-nuptial agreements and financial arrangements," said Petra, who lives with her partner and four-year-old daughter
“The way that Woolley & Co works is so different from any other local law firms and the flexibility really appealed. It is quite a radical approach but I am looking forward to running my own case loads and being able to devote more time to clients.”
